*auberge sahara*

so...my *magic carpet* took me far away....to the *deserted* country...
and I stepped through a *yellow* painted gate....watched fascinated the *simple* architecture....
passed by a little *desert* garden in a pott....
found myself again in a simple *moroccan red* and *saffron yellow* tiled courtyard...3 *desert* coloured *little* frogs jumped around....from time to time....
a *simple* lunch with a great *dune view* ....and the most *delicious* mint tea....ah...
the *cat* of the desert *house* was sleeping....*zzzzzzzzzz*
*cool* aqua blue water....
and found myself in the *magic* desert night....cozy wrapped in a *wool* blanket....
and enjoyed the fresh brewed *foamy* coffee....what a *bliss* :-)

the auberge sahara is located in a small village called hassilabied near merzouga in front of the dunes. A very clean, well organized and simple place to stay. They also offer camping places, sleeping in tents, rooms and  well guided overnight trips in a *desert* camp...of course with *nice* camels :-)
I am still impressed by the very warm welcome of all the nice people in the auberge sahara, I felt very comfortable all the time and....once you staying at this place...may you will coming back again...and again....exploring the *real* desert life....and I want to say thank you again for the nice and *relaxing* time :-)

may you ask youself now how to get to this place? A few weeks ago the moroccan supratours company started the route Marrakech-Merzouga and back for 200 DIR one way (about € 19,-). It takes about 12 hours time to get there from Marrakech and the bus will stop for 2 lunch breaks in the atlas mountains and in a village between Ouarzazate and Errachidia.

A very *special* thanks to Bedouin Hmad from merzouga-zagora-expeditions.com for organizing & taking care :-)
